I slept well last night and after being outside all day today in the fresh, sometimes very wet, British air, I am expecting to sleep well tonight. We bought better camping mats this time and it has made all the difference. Perhaps I'll end up liking camping after all. It's been so nice hanging out with lovely people and for the kids to have other kids to play with.
I'm not an amazing cook at the best of times so cooking on a campfire is always going to be a challenge for me. To keep things simple, I bought pot noodles for lunch. Boil water, pour on noodles, wait four minutes, lunch. The lid of my pot noodles gave me all the wisdom and advice I need today, "Less time cooking, more time chasing your dreams." Maybe that's why I've never figured out what I should be when I grow up, I'm spending too much time in the kitchen. If only pot noodles really held the answers.
I'm really tired and off to my bed to chase some dreams.
