A Silly Poem

Writer's picture: Karen PlaatjesKaren Plaatjes

When life gets overwhelming

And you don't know what to do

Go outside and hug a tree

Act like a cow and moo

When life seems bleak and boring

And things just get you down

Run and jump in piles of leaves

To chase away your frown

When things are sad and lonely

And distance makes you cry

Laugh into the howling wind

And sing to passers by

Do something silly everyday

Just to keep things fun

Dress up and dance in your living room

Until Corona's done

My quote of the day is, "Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence." Henry David Thoreau

My photo for today is of Phil and I being silly.
