Frustration and Laughter

I’m full of frustration at the moment. I was Incorrectly charged fifty quid for a “free” trial and I’ve already spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to get my money back. Apparently it’s a problem with the company which is so annoying as I should have researched it first. I now have to wait till Monday to try and sort the problem and it looks like I may have to cancel my bank card to ensure they won’t charge me again. The fact that you can’t get through to a live human on any help system is also intensely irritating.

My blood pressure was beginning to return to normal and my inner Karen was calming after I realised I couldn’t speak to anyone (let alone a manager) and then my computer died. 😢 I had just finished writing my whole blog post and the charger stopped working and now my computer is dead with all my words stuck inside. So I’m here typing on my phone like an old person (according to Isla) as I can‘t type really fast on a phone like she can.

Frustration is definitely one of my least favourite emotions probably next to only grief and broken heartedness. My youngest just made me a cup of coffee and brought it in with two chocolates. It’s hard to stay frustrated after that.

My quote for today is, “Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.” - Kurt Vonnegut

Today‘s photo is of me laughing hysterically. I think it’s probably massive too but as I am doing this on my phone, I don’t know how to shrink it and I’m too exhausted to figure it out tonight So you have a giant version.
